An intrepid traveller, Maria has lived in Europe and Africa and travelled to many countries in South America. She is the director and head guide of Patagonia trails.
Since 1998, Maria has gained experience travelling as a trip leader and trekking guide in Patagonia and the rest of the world, always searching for the best places and experiences.
Her endless passion for hiking, biking, horse riding and adventure is contagious. Patagonia trails was founded in 2013 focused on delivering a high quality personalized service. Every trip is customized combining the type of accommodation that the client wishes, a journey of a lifetime not to mention a culinary treat all resulting in a memorable cultural and adventurous experience.
Patagonia Trails is based in the delightful city of Puerto Varas, amongst the beautiful landscape of rolling hills, crystal clear rivers and lakes in the Andes. The is the Lake District. In Llanquihue province, Chile.
The travel and adventure expeditions we arrange relate to Adventure, Culture & History, Nature & Wildlife, Family Fun, Special Occasions or anything else in which a client may be interested.
Our customized itineraries include accommodations, sightseeing, daily breakfasts, some lunches and dinners and private ground transportation, entrance to national parks, sites and museums.

ETHICAL & RESPONSIBLE SOURCED ADVENTURES
We at Patagonia Trails lead and encourage our clients to take responsibility for the environmental impact of the trips and we try to minimize on the environment within which we operate.
Our local guides are aware of the impact of tourism in the area and the positive and negative aspects.
Where possible they will encourage participants to follow local customs and adopt practices that work in harmony with the habitat and environment.
